Start with your exit and help choices
To leave the PGLF Atlanta text program, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOPALL, REVOKE, or OPTOUT to a program text. After opting out, you may receive one nonmarketing confirmation. Reply HELP for assistance or email [email protected]. Other reasonable methods of clearly requesting withdrawal are also accepted.
After opt-out, a permitted confirmation may be sent; it will not contain marketing. You may revoke SMS consent by replying STOP, emailing [email protected], writing to our published postal address, or using any other reasonable method that clearly identifies your request. We honor revocation promptly and in any event within ten business days after receipt. SMS withdrawal does not end your educational email subscription unless you also request that. Email unsubscribe instructions appear in the newsletter, and email withdrawal is also available through the support address.
What the family caregiver text program covers
The optional PGLF Atlanta text program concerns family caregiver navigation: practical appointment preparation, care-option research, household planning, and coordination among relatives. It is an optional marketing program that sends recurring automated marketing texts promoting that proposed program. It is separate from Caregiver Notes, the recurring educational health email newsletter, and SMS enrollment does not confirm that operating services have launched.
The navigation-service model is proposed; selecting SMS does not establish that operating services have launched, reserve a service, or create a medical relationship. Messages are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment instructions, or an urgent-care communication channel. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about clinical questions.
An adult participant and an authorized number
You must be at least eighteen years old to participate. Provide a valid US mobile number that can receive text messages and belongs to you, or that you are authorized to enroll. Do not enroll someone else’s number without the authority required for written consent. The form checks the supported US-number format; that check does not establish ownership, carrier coverage, or delivery capability.
You are responsible for accurate number information and applicable mobile-plan charges. Notify support if you change or give up the number, or if it is reassigned, so communications can be stopped or corrected. A new number requires its own applicable authorization; an old consent should not be assumed to cover a new recipient.
Frequency, charges, and the delivery boundary
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Program text messages are sent only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the recipient’s local time. There is no promised message schedule. Check your carrier’s terms for charges and capabilities.
Availability depends on supported carriers, network conditions, device settings, and service providers. Delivery may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable, and not every carrier or number is supported. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A successful website request acknowledges receipt of the request, not delivery of a text.
The boundary around mobile records
Mobile information, opt-in data, and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes and will not be sold. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message service.
The Privacy Policy’s mobile clause explains this restriction alongside the broader data categories and rights. Only the messaging functions described in that clause justify access by the text-service providers. Your mobile number is not permission for third-party marketing.
The retention policy requires SMS opt-in and opt-out evidence for at least four years and suppression or STOP records for at least ten years, or longer as legally required. These limited records help honor withdrawal and document permissions even when other information is deleted.
Program revisions and Georgia rules
We may revise, suspend, or end the program. Material changes will be communicated where required. A change of program terms does not broaden an earlier written consent; a new authorization is needed where law or the changed scope requires it. Ending the program does not cancel applicable privacy or suppression obligations.
These SMS Terms supplement the Terms & Conditions. The State of Georgia’s law governs, subject to applicable federal law and mandatory consumer protections. The practical dispute process in the Terms & Conditions also applies without limiting nonwaivable rights.
